Posted by Loudoun Country Day School on June 22, 2020

To the LCDS community and interested families,

I am pleased to share this update regarding our plans for the opening of our 2020-2021 school year. We remain fully committed to providing an in-person, on-campus, five-days-per-week learning experience for all students. Our Board Campus Reopening Task Force is hard at work to support this goal. I am immensely grateful for the leadership of our Board of Trustees in this important process. Our Task Force includes expertise in medical, legal, building, finance, marketing, and strategic planning professions. I also applaud the outstanding participation of our faculty and administration in this significant undertaking. We have had multiple meetings and are making excellent progress.

Posted by Loudoun Country Day School on March 20, 2020

Dear Prospective Loudoun Country Day Families,

We are delighted with your interest in our educational program and the total Loudoun Country Day School experience for your children. I am taking a few moments to share a special message with you. As every institution across the professions addressed the immense impact of the coronavirus, I have never been more proud of our faculty, administration, students, and parents. While many schools, public and private, are struggling at this time away from our campuses, our school continues to deliver our robust educational program through distance learning, for which we are receiving enormous praise via email, Facebook and Instagram posts, and other social media.
